Our Stampede Saddles have a "Bowman Style " also known as a "Modified Assocation" style tree. The 12'' pommel has lots of upfront support all types of riders from the novice to the seasoned pro. The Cantle on every Stampede Saddle tree is a more than adequate 3 1/2'' deep seat style for added comfort for the rider. This cantle style provides even weight and pressure distribution on the hips for the rider and is transferred to the seat of the saddle for added comfort reducing pressure spots on the rider and even weight distribution for the horse.

Because the Saddle tree is the support structure it is one of the most important parts of the saddle.  All  Stampede  Saddle trees have FULL Quarter Horse Bars with a 6 1/2'' Gullet providing even weight distribution over the horses back -  they are designed to be versatile for both horse and rider - Our saddles usually fit most types of  horses from the razorback (high withered) to the mutton back  (low wither) type of confirmation.
